The Southern Arizona Chapter of PRSA has offered PR professionals access to personal and professional development through regular Chapter meetings, topical seminars and workshops, regional conferences and a rich network of local practitioners.
Established in 1970, the Chapter serves all of Southern Arizona stretching from Yuma in the west to Sierra Vista and Wilcox in the east. Members come from Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, Oracle, Tucson and throughout the unincorporated areas of Pima, Pinal, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties.
The Southern Arizona Chapter is a member of the PRSA Western District, which has 10 chapters from Hawaii, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona. Nationally, PRSA is divided into 10 geographical districts with a total of 110 chapters across the US. Members represent the ever-changing face of the profession of public relations and range from seasoned veterans to young professionals in the early stages of their careers.
The 21,000-member Public Relations Society of America is the world's largest organization for public relations professionals. PRSA's New York City-based headquarters handles tens of thousands of information requests, coordinates meetings and conferences, publishes dozens of magazines, newsletters and other periodicals and oversees the day-to-day management of your membership dues investment.
